Our Anniston office is located next to the Federal Courthouse (see photo above). Our "new" Talladega office is on the square at Battle Street and East Court Square. Our law firm is currently handling many civil cases in Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Jefferson and Talladega Counties, and Federal Courts but we will make the time to talk to you about any serious case.
Types of CasesWe try many types of civil litigation. We have three jury trial set, for example, within the next two months. We have tried one case in each of the last two weeks (as of March 10, 2010). At your direction, we will conduct a trial before a jury, or a judge without a jury (or settle if you so direct) cases of Product Liability, Motor Vehicle collisions, Toxic Torts , Personal Injury, Insurance Bad Faith, Fraud, Business Disputes, and other civil matters. We have handled a number of "crashworthiness," PCB, FenPhen and Vioxx cases, for example. We handle business controversies, Chapter 11 and other complex insolvency disputes, both in State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts.
Law Firm ProfileOur Partners, James S. Hubbard and Thomas J. Knight have many years of trial and litigation experience. We have successfully tried cases and represented individuals and small businesses in lawsuits as diverse as Pharmaceuticals, Fraud, Automobile design defects, Boat design, Insurance Company Bad Faith, Train Wrecks, Toxic Waste Trespass, Estates, Condemnation, Medical Devices, Business Misconduct, and a host of others. We handle cases primarily in Alabama and Georgia, but practice in other geographical areas as needed.
